Fresh from the Electromatic range and full of retro style, this Gretsch G5220 Jet is a mean rock machine.
This left-handed Jet has a chambered Mahogany body and a set neck, also made from Mahogany. This single cutaway Jet is all about hard rock, sustain and thick crunchy sounds.
Lots of cool Gretsch details abound on this model: multi-ply binding, large block fret markers and a rather distinctive V-shaped stop tailpiece mark this affordable axe out as one that really cuts a dash.
Newly developed Broad’Tron pickups supply a biting tone with plenty of clarity and definition. Far more than retro twang but less than full on metal overload, these excellent pickups deliver a broad palette of quality rock tones.
The thin U-profiled neck has a slightly shorter 24.6” scale length and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12” radius for a fantastic feel that is defiantly modern. Vintage looks and modern playability? Sounds perfect to us!
