HSH Configuration

One of the many great features of the JEM is the HSH pickup setup. It allows for a load of versatility, something which can certainly be heard in Vai's playing. From sparkling cleans to crunchy rhythms and articulated solos, the INF pickups do a great job at covering it all.

Tree of Life Inlay

Decorating the rosewood fretboard, the Tree of Life inlay has become a recognisable design that adds both style and elegance. The intricate design marks the traditional fret positions with a larger leaf section. Functional and beautiful!

Double Locking Tremolo

Essential to Vai's sound is the tremolo. Using it to create a whole range of weird and wonderful sounds, he certainly demonstrates what a whammy bar can do to your playing. Even if you only want to use it for some small vibrato, it is great to have it at hand for when you become more adventurous.
