Customer reviews

Overall Rating 4/5 (2 reviews)

The most important things in a guitar are the tone, the look and the feel. I compared the Nashville to the Tommy Emmanuel signature and it was a really close call between the two. I felt the Nashville just edged it for me tone wise. Bright and well balanced. The TE lacked some low end for my liking. The neck is slightly chunkier on the Nashville whereas the TE is slimmer and more comfortable to my preference. The overall look of the Nashville is great and better in my opinion, but the TE has nice touches such as the mother of pearl binding. Both are incredible guitars and had I not tried a TE, I’d probably be rating this 5*, but for two Matons at a similar/same price, it’s a shame the two can’t be blended together as one perfect model. But this is all about preference as a player and personal taste in the look of the guitar, I’d highly recommend checking them both out and seeing for yourself if you’re contemplating a Maton. They’re really impressively built guitars and I now prefer mine over my Taylor 816-CE!

Truss rod tool and information on instruments pre amp would have been nice
