What we say:

At A Glance:

Forming part of the 18 series from Martin, this series is the backbone from which all models and ranges originate.

The Concert sized body of this 0-18 is well suited to fingerpicking, arpeggios, and other styles that favour single note articulation. This body also benefits from a great tonewood combination of spruce and mahogany. A tried and tested combination, this guitar sounds fantastic!

Features We Love:

0 Body Size

This smaller body, a Concert size, is best suited to single note styles of playing such as fingerpicking and arpeggios. Despite it's smaller size, this body is capable of a confident voicing with a nice level of volume.

Tonewood Combination

A classic combination of materials on an acoustic, the spruce and mahogany used to create the body on this guitar give a bright and defined tone. A firm favourite of many across the globe, this tried and tested wood combo is sure to satisfy your sonic desires!

Modified Low Oval Neck Shape

This neck shape is suited to those with smaller hands or who prefer a slimmer neck. With this model, you'll be able to play for hours on end without hand pain getting in your way.

Pros:

  • 0 body size is comfortable and gives great tonality
  • A classic tonewood combination known for it's bright sound
  • Neck shape is comfortable and easy to play

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 5/5 (2 reviews)

The only issue I had with this purchase is when I went to Martin website to register. I discovered this could only be done there if you were US or Canadian resident. This isn't explained... All that happens is an error message apears saying wrong phone number format. After a few emails I was told to contact dealers or importers to register warranty... Oh and no lifetime warranty outside US. No documentation in guitar case to explain this for UK (or other countries).

Superb guitar, well balanced sound, very easy to play and light weight. It's as good as any Martin I've played and better than a lot of them. Classic Martin tone and surprisingly earthy with plenty of volume.
