A staple in the Iberia series, the F7 features the traditional flamenco wood combination of a solid European spruce top paired with cypress back and sides. It is incredibly lightweight, built in the Spanish tradition with a slightly thinner body depth than a classical guitar. Featuring a flatter neck angle which allows for low action, and the bright, snappy tone characteristic of flamenco guitars, the F7 is the perfect guitar for both beginner and intermediate flamenco players. The built-in truss rod makes adjusting the neck angle on this guitar a breeze! It also includes a clear flamenco-style tap plate.

The Chinese have been improving their manufacture of guitars in recent years until now they can be relied on to produce a first class instrument. The lay on this guitar is exactly what it should be for a Flamenco. The gloss is superb although it is PU . You may think this detacts from the tone but the fixing of a golpeador will have a much more deadening effect than a PU finish. So even it it were French polished the golpeador would counter any improvement . In any case the way you play Flamenco music is quite energetic and loud. I would prefer a PU finish because it is very protective . Also the fact that the sides and back are laminated inceases their strength . The top is more important which is a single piece of spruce which will improve the souind as time goes by ( so they say!!). The machine heads are not the best, but good enough , I will no be replacing them. Strings are fine . I would recommend this Flamenco guitar to anyone starting to learn Flameno up to intermediate level . If you are a pro you will probably spend more on your Flamenco guitar.
