Versatile Electronics

It's hard to ignore the plethora of knobs and switches on the xtSA but don't be intimidated as it all unlocks worlds of different tones. Starting at the heart of the guitar you're already off to a versatile start with Godin's custom humbuckers and single coils. Linked up to the standard 5-Way switch you have thick humbucker tones along with split coil tones too!. Sitting right behind these pickups at the bridge is the LR Baggs transducer saddles which give an incredibly authentic acoustic sound that you can blend in and out. Finally you have the optional 13-pin connector which provides access to Roland GR-Series synths as well as most other 13-pin devices.

Richlite Fingerboard

In an effort to make the xtSA more sustainable and less abrasive to the environment Godin have chosen to use a Richlite fingerboard. While it has the look and feel of a premium jet black ebony board Richlite is incredibly sustainable and great for the environment. Growing in popularity with large manufactures and boutique builders for its sustainability and similarities to ebony.

Graphtech Nut

A great addition to any guitar especially tremolo equipped guitars like this, the Graphtech nut uses a special blend of materials to always keep the string lubricated at the nut. This ensures optimal string movement while you play making sure the string doesn't bind in the nut and cause any tuning issues. As well as helping with tuning stability it cuts down on the maintenance needed by traditional nut materials.
