What we say:

At A Glance:

The PGA98H by Shure is a clip on condenser microphone that's been designed for use with brass and wind instruments. The PGA98H can attach to your instrument, giving you the freedom to move without altering your front of house sound.

Features We Love:

A Dedicated Mic for Brass, Wind and Percussion Instruments

The PGA98H has been engineered to work with brass and wind instruments. A cardioid condenser, the PGA98H features a gooseneck design so you can easily direct it to your instrument's sweet spot and it offers a highly directional sound. So you only pick up your instrument, while it rejects feedback and the instruments next to you, making it ideal for stage use. The PGA98H also features a built-in clip for attaching it to the bell of wind and brass instruments, giving you the freedom to move on stage and not be fixed in front of a mic on a stand.

XLR Connection

The PGA98H features a standard male XLR connection that is compatible with most amps and can simply connect to an XLR cable in place of a handheld mic when on stage.

Who Is It For?

Brass and wind players, and music venues.

Highlights:

  • Dedicated mic for brass and wind instruments
  • High output with low risk of feedback
  • Attaches directly onto your instrument
