Sennheiser E835 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone

I needed a mic for pub gigs, and this one is a great value for money! The sound is clear yet warm. Loving it.

This is a professional microphone at a reasonable price. It is beautifully crafted and a high quality item. It performs very well in a variety of settings.

IMHO, a better, more rounded and detailed sound with live vocals than the ubiquitous SM58. It just required a little more work onstage to quell the low-mid hum feedback with the subs. This is filtered better by the SM58 (at the expense of musicality) which is what makes them so damned easy to mix into loud, live music. Its always a compromise, though, and I think I would rather perceiver with the Sennheiser and get a better stage vocal sound.
