What we say:

At A Glance:

The '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb by Fender pays tribute to one of the most popular line of amplifiers of all time! The Custom Deluxe tape into the classic Silverface amps of the late 60s by distilling the tones of the classic Silverface and the iconic Bassman into a portable amp with a single 12" speaker, the Custom Deluxe is the ultimate companion for guitarists on the move!

Features We Love:

Who Is It For?

The '65 Twin Reverb is great tones through and through. If you're after vintage valve tones in a giggable amp that handles everything from tasteful cleans to ranchy dirty tones, you're going to love this! This amp sounds great on everything from jazz and blues to indie and classic rock and would suit the guitarist looking for authentic vintage fender tones in a portable cabinet.

Tube Driven Reverb

The built in reverb is an excellent way to smooth out and add depth to your tone, but it can also be an effective way to give an edge to your sound. As it's tube driven it's never going to sound harsh, it's a dynamic and reactive reverb that always sounds sweet.

Tube Driven Vibrato

The amp features the old school tube-biased tremolo circuit. The magic being this amps vibrato is that it modulates the power tubes, meaning the tremolo ducks out of the way when you strum hard, then gradually comes in as your notes sustain. It's one of the best tremolos we've heard as it really puts the focus on your playing.

Highlights:

  • Classic Fender tube tone
  • Built-in reverb and tremolo bring a great new dimension to your tone
  • “Vintage” channel gives you great traditional silverface operation
  • Modified “Custom” channel taps into tweed-era Bassman® tone stack tones

What's Included:

  • Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb
  • Two Button Footswitch
  • Cover

Great amp.used vox ac 15 30s for years.but switched to this amp.great sound.expensive, but you get quality with the price tag

Great classic Fender amp, very loud so more for playing live or rehearsal situations. Fender have recreated and reissued this amp based on the originals so it's got that classic 60s sound. These are noisy amps so not ideal for bedroom use.

It?s a lovely thing, sounds ace

Josienne C. - 25/11/2020

Lovely amp, great sound. Vibrato makes an audible pulsating, ticking sound. Not a big deal and shouldn't affect anyone playing in a live / loud situation but I'm playing at home at low volume mostly so it is noticeable. Still glad I got it though.
