What we say:

At A Glance:

The '68 Custom Princeton Reverb by Fender pays tribute to one of the most popular lines of amplifiers of all time! Tapping into the valve vintage vibe of the late '60s Fender "silverface" amps, the Custom Princeton packs the classic tones and looks of the '60s Fender amp into a powerful yet compact form. With its all tube driven circuitry, vibrato and modded reverb, the Custom Princeton gives you the authentic Fender tone with a modern twist.

Features We Love:

Who Is It For?

Guitarists looking for that authentic Fender tone in a portable form and without the risk of investing in a vintage amp are going to love the Custom Princeton Reverb! It's been designed to bring the all tube tone to the guitarist that requires the reliability of a modern amp, without any compromise to that authentic sound!

Tube Driven Reverb

The Custom Princeton features the classic Fender tube driven reverb with a twist. The reverb circuit has been modded to minimise the risk of feedback and to offer more tonal flexibility when used with pedals.

Tube Driven Vibrato

The amp features the old school tube-biased tremolo circuit. The magic being this amps vibrato is that it modulates the power tubes, meaning the tremolo ducks out of the way when you strum hard, then gradually comes in as your notes sustain. It's one of the best tremolos we've heard as it really puts the focus on your playing.

Pros:

  • Classic Fender tube tone
  • Built-in reverb and tremolo bring a great new dimension to your tone
  • Just like the originals, the amp features handwired tube sockets and custom-made Schumacher transformers

As good as I had imagined

Alan M. - 16/1/2022

What a brilliant amp . Classic sounds from a historically famous amp . Takes Pedals well but drives very well on its own . Works well with any type of guitar . The spring reverb is amazing and the tremolo is dreamy .
