Takamine give us a quality nylon-string model as part of their top of the line Pro Series with this P3FCN acoustic guitar. This cutaway electro acoustic has a solid Cedar top and solid Sapele back with laminated Sapele sides. The P3FCN gives a traditional nylon sound full of detail and nuance that lends itself to fingerpicked parts. The feel is modern but the sound is classical all the way! Of course, the solid top and back timbers will vibrate more and improve the more you play it: the sonic depth will continue for years.
Visually the P3FCN is an elegantly understated affair: there are nice details like the wooden concentric ring soundhole rosette and the gold & amber tuners. The guitar has a natural satin finish.
Taking the P3FCN on stage? A fantastic CT4B II pickup and preamp system is installed to give you a great live sound, too. This system has a powerful preamp mounted on the shoulder of the guitar which includes a 3-band EQ and an electronic tuner to keep you right at all times!
This guitar is a very good modern nylon-string and acquits itself admirably well on stage and off.
