Features We Love:
Cardioid
This capsule gives you the most common polar pattern, and features a sensitive focus towards the front of the capsule and minimal capture from the sides and back, great for capturing detailed recordings with less room ambience.
Omnidirectional
Swapping out to the omni capsule lets you record the whole room evenly. Essentially recording in a sphere shape, this capsule is great if you want to record an entire band or a choir using a single microphone.
Pad and Filter
To make the mic NT55 even more versatile, it features pad and filter switches. The pad switch cuts your signal by either 10db or 20db, this is great if you're recording a loud source that's causing your signal to clip. While the filter switch cuts out either 75Hz or 150Hz from your signal, which is useful if you're experience unwanted rumble .
