Lavalier
Lavalier Mics are clip on microphones that are most commonly used in television broadcasts, but they are also an essential part of theatre productions and presentations. Lav microphones give you a close mic sound, with minimal ambience, yet are small enough, that they're not really visible unless you're looking.
MiCon
The Rode Lavalier features a proprietary MiCon connection which offers a secure connection to compatible wireless packs. MiCon features a threaded connection which will lock into your wireless pack so it can't accidentally be pulled out. MiCon is also compatible with a series of adaptors which make the Lavalier compatible with your camera, desk and other audio hardware.
