Fender Blues Junior Lacquered Tweed

I was trying to weigh up which would be the more suitable amp for me between this and a Prio Jr. Whilst both amps deliver a decent punch and classic Fender tones, the guys at GuitarGuitar let me use a wide spectrum of guitars to understand how each amp would interact with the guitars I am lucky enough to have in my custody at present. This meant that making an informed purchase took a couple of hours, but at no point did I feel rushed or a nuisance. The amp itself doesn’t disappoint - whether used alone or when paired with another amp as part of a wet/dry rig. Delighted with the purchase and the purchasing experience - which is no surprise as GuitarGuitar Birmingham have been delivering exemplary customer service since I started using them 20 years ago.

Great looking amp, the tweed looks so cool and retro and the sound is smooth and creamy and when you push the valves in its pure tone heaven.

Beautiful clean tones, takes pedals amazingly well, great for small gigs.

A great amp for using at home when you wanna work those tubes at low volumes! The Jensen speaker needed breaking in a little, as it started off with some harsh high end - not too bad if you put bass EQ on full and reduce treble. I actually replaced the speaker in this with an Eminence Swamp Thang and now it sounds very full and big. The speaker is subjective ofc, and some of you out there may love the harsh high end of the Jensen. I won't reduce my rating just because of a subjective element such as that. Overall, the amp is fantastic, and the tweed is superb!

A lot cleaner than my old cheaper amp, the spring reverb is a little soft but sounds great.

Excellent Authentic Blues Sound!

I've always wanted a Fender amp and after 40 years of playing I'm glad I bought the tweed version with the Jensen speaker. Onboard reverb great and dirty but clean sounds are superb
