'Beatle George' is perhaps one of the most visible stars to have played Gretsch guitars, notably a Duo Jet. Being the lead guitarist in the world's most famous band certainly earns you a signature guitar or two and this model from Gretsch is a loving and respectful tribute to a much-missed musician.

This Duo Jet has a chambered body of Mahogany with a 3-ply arched Maple top. This Jet is classic Gretsch in every way: from the 'hump block' inlays on the 12” radius fingerboard to the U shape neck, the ‘G’-logo knobs and the multiple-bound body, it’s all here!

A pair of DynaSonic single coil pickups ensure an authentically retro twang and proper Bigsby tremolo gives you all of the dips and wobbles you'd expect.

Unlike other Duo Jet models, the back and sides of this guitar are painted Black to match the top. George's Signature can be found printed on the truss rod cover.
