Introducing a new addition to the DigiTech Whammy Family – Whammy DT! We’ve taken the premier pitch shifting effects pedal added drop tuning and true bypass to bring you the ultimate Whammy pedal, the Whammy DT. With the Whammy DT, you can modify your tuning without having to change guitars or pause awkwardly to make adjustments for the next song. Key changes are at the tips of your toes and take just moments, which is crucial when the audience is feeling your vibe.

Specification

Pitch shifting effects really help your guitar performance stand out and the Whammy pedal has been the core pitch shifting effect for famous artists for over 20 years. Now add full drop and raised tuning in addition to classic Whammy shifting to your effects arsenal and find out why the Whammy DT is the premiere pitch shifting effects pedal for every guitarist.

Step down or step up 7 half steps or an entire octave:
The Whammy DT gives you the latest pitch shifting technology to retune your guitar without ever touching the tuning pegs. Step up or down in 7 half steps, or an entire octave with just one setting.

One of the best pedals to sound like Tom Morrelo

Ben M. - 14/8/2024

Want to play all your favourite heavy metal songs at home but don't own multpliple guitars specifically tunes for them, perhaps your band has one or 2 songs that are in a different tuning and you can't be arsed to lug extra guitars on the road? Well the digitech whammy DT is the modern day miracle cure for what ails ya! What a bit of kit rugged housing good clunky stompswitches and not a bad looker on the floor to be fair. The ability to change up or down in semitone increments offers so much versatility in your journey as a guitarist wether your drop tunning or can't find that pesky capo this will sort those issues with minimal ease at low volume you can often hear the unplugged sound of your strings but at higher volumes or with headphones this is easily remedied. The whammy pedal itself is fantastic whether you want to make that bish squeal or fancy trying that lick you just wrote/learned harmonised in 3rds or straight octave that sh!t. Or get real funky don your best trucker cap and pretend you're Tom Morello for a bit. This pedal should be a part of every guitarists arsenal it's a tad pricey sure but it's damn sight cheaper than 7 guitars and ita well worth the price tag for that alone. Go try one out at your nearest store see what you think.

Bought for my grandson and he loves it

Alex M. - 23/3/2024

This pedal works great and provides great opportunity for changing tunings rather than taking multiple guitars in my covers band. The reason I rate this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because there is a latency when using the drop tuner below a certain pitch. It's only slight, but enough that I noticed. All in all, great pedal.

Good unit. Not quite as fun & good as I remember from using one may moons ago, and there's always room for improvement. Hence 4*.

The pedal does everything I want and more

Joe G. - 17/6/2020

Very impressed with this pedal.

As an upgrade from my Digitech Drop pedal, the Digitech Whammy DT fulfils the Drop's function and much more; I can finally play some of my favourite songs properly from bands such as Rage Against The Machine. The product sounds really good and is of high quality.

Jack R. - 3/6/2020

Great service - order came on the day stated and within a one hour window so that I didn't need to stay in all day.

J.N. - 26/11/2013

Brilliant pedal, does just what I bought it for, has some fantastic, quality sounds, and the additional de-tune function works a treat! Worth every penny!

J.G. - 2/11/2012

As someone who takes an extra guitar on stage for tunings this pedal is excellent. Only tried it at home so far but I love the pitch shift. The other effects are also very good but for drop tunings it's worth it's weight in gold. One guitar on stage from now on!
