What we say:

At A Glance:

The Shure WH20-XLR Headset Mic has been optimised for vocals. If you're a musician looking to keep your hands free as you play instruments and move around the stage, you'll find the WH20 comfortable and easy to use.

Features We Love:

Adjustable Headset

The microphone is mounted on an adjustable headband, meaning you'll be able to find a comfortable and secure fit that will work for even the most animated of performers.

Cardioid Microphone

The WH20 features a cardioid polar pattern that clearly picks up your voice and rejects the instruments and sound around you, plus it naturally rolls off the low-end frequencies, meaning you don't need to worry about proximity effect muddiness as you sing louder.

XLR Connection

This version of the WH20 features a standard male XLR connection that is compatible with most amps and can simply connect to an XLR cable in place of a handheld mic when on stage.

Who Is It For?

Musicians and performers who want to keep their hands free when singing without being tied down to a mic on a stand

Highlights:

  • Hands free operation
  • Clear vocal tone for singing and speech
  • Standard XLR connection

Brilliant works well with my PA system

christopher l. - 26/7/2023

The headset fits well and is comfortable. Picks up vocals well. Only criticism is the lead is a bit short to perform with when it goes direct to an amp. So a body pack or go full wireless?

Ian C. - 5/11/2022

John R. - 11/10/2022

Andrew G. - 26/5/2022

Easy plug and play (sing). Cable could be a lot longer but easily extended with another mic XLR anyway. And it sounds pretty good.

Jondi M. - 16/4/2022

Farhad S. - 29/11/2021

Light and easy to use and sound good

jean t. - 20/6/2019

Comfortable to wear and sounds great, if not quite as good as a traditional mic.

john B. - 22/2/2019

Works well, I don't trust wireless, so for me, this is the way to go.

Richard S. - 29/1/2019

Product met fully with expectations.

Julie C. - 3/2/2018

Great item. Sound quality is perfect for my use. (Singing whilst playing banjo.) Only downside is that it takes a while to get used to putting it on and taking it off, but that's all part of learning to use new kit.

Cathy M. - 31/10/2017

Really like this headset mic. Just what I was looking for.

D.. - 23/2/2016

Very good microphone, Comfortable on the head too.
