Unquestionable one of the most famous and classic amp brands in existence, Vox has a sound that bands and artists go to decade after decade. Whether you know Vox from the Beatles famously using them or other bands like R.E.M., U2, Radiohead and Rory Gallagher, there are few sounds as iconic.

This is the one! The classic combo. The Vox AC30C2 is a 2x12” combo that on paper has 30 watts of power but in reality is terrifyingly loud! This modern reissue has the same control panel as the vintage models with both Normal & Top Boost channels, reverb & tremolo effects and other classic features like Tone Cut to stop your sound hurting the front row’s ears! This model also has a master volume to let you drive the gain from the front end harder without requiring ASBO-inducing volume levels to achieve the level of filth you’re after.

This is a classic sounding amp and is happiest with a little bit of hair on the signal rather than full-blown overdrive but when the time comes (and volume permits) you get a fantastically rich roar from this combo.

Easily loud enough for any gigs, the AC30C2 is relatively heavy so entice a strong friend with free drinks at your next gig to help carry this up the stairs. Once you plug in, you’ll know it was worth the effort.
