On the surface, this pedal is perhaps not quite as exciting as a new high-gain overdrive or an extreme fuzz. However, the LS-2 is a bit of a Swiss Army Knife: it can perform a couple of very handy tasks that make it indispensable for many, many players.

The LS-2 can plug two guitars into one amp, one guitar between two amps, it can be a master switch for multiple groups of devices and there's a built in effects send and return too. Also, if you use an AC adaptor with the LS-2, it will act as a power supply for several other Boss pedals on top all this other functionality that it supplies! It's a whole bunch of handy solutions all in one small white box.
