With winter approaching, and mornings drawing ever darker, what we all need is a feel-good tune from an altogether sunnier place. Something to lift our spirits, right?
Thankfully, Orianthi’s got us covered. The Australian guitar prodigy has long since developed into a top-tier songwriter and vocalist, and her latest tune, Some Kind of Feeling, nails that relaxed-but-soulful sound that can really lift your spirits on a cold day.
Guitar fans will be happy to learn that there’s plenty of her trademark fiery soloing, too!

Some Kind of Feeling is the title track from the forthcoming album of the same name, due in 2025. If the rest are like this, it’ll be an essential listen. From her collabs with Richie Sambora and Alice Cooper (and a high profile gig as Michael Jackson’s guitarist on what would’ve been his final tour), Orianthi has made a niche for herself as dynamite guitarist who can also write and sing their own songs, and that’s something we don’t see tons of these days!
