OASIS Reunion Update: The Rumours are TRUE! Plus Dream Setlist

The rumours are true! The news we were all waiting for has occured: The Gallagher brothers have made up and decided to hit the road together next year for a momentous tour.
This will be the first time the band have played live in seventeen years. Oasis are back!
Tickets go onsale this Saturday, and we at guitarguitar are all buzzing about it!

The internet was in a frenzy this morning over a simple teaser film hinted at something we all never thought would happen: Oasis may be reforming!
Last night, at the end of his headline spot at Reading festival, Liam Gallagher displayed a very telling teaser: text across the screen written in that inimitable Oasis logo font, simply displayed a date: 27.08.24. The screen then flickered and read ‘8am’. In other words, tomorrow morning!
Not only that: Liam actually dedicated a song - Half a World Away - to his brother, who originally sang the number. When does Liam ever do that?
Rumours
Rumours are now flying around the web about an imminent reunion. Certain industry pundits and insiders have already mentioned news of a 2025 tour in mega-venues such as Wembley and Manchester’s Heaton Park.
Indeed, Liam actually responded to a comment on the socials from a fan who complained “Heaton Park’s a terrible venue for concerts” with “See you down the front”.
There are also rumours that the coveted top stop at Glastonbury next year will be theirs, too. Noel has kept schtum so far, but there isn’t long to wait, if Liam’s stage graphics last night were anything to go by!
