Did you know Roland electronic drums can be heard on plenty of the classic songs we all love?
As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations we’ve teamed up with Cat Myers and Mike Thomas of Roland to offer YOU one-to-one lessons tailored to your drumming level where you’ll have a chance to learn all things drum you’ve always wanted!
Who Are Cat Myers and Mike Thomas?
Cat Myers is a professional session drummer who has toured the world over! She’s known for playing Roland hybrid products whilst drumming for a number of artists from post-rock band Mogwai, to pop legends Texas. Cat is now also Roland’s European Drum & Percussion Manager.
Speak to Cat about anything Roland V-Drums and Hybrid Drumming related (including sample pads), she has all the expertise and hands-on knowledge you could want.
Mike Thomas is Roland’s European Drum Specialist and comes with a wealth of knowledge of technical support. Mike can help with anything from buying your first kit, advanced support for existing customers or help with developing hybrid set-ups.

Whether you’re a complete novice to drums or an advanced player looking for inspiration and extra advice, our 1-2-1 sessions with Cat and Mike are here to help. Tailored to your needs, during your free session you can learn how to set up the full kit, how to sample drums, learn your favourite drum beat and ask any questions you may have.
As an extra treat, Cat will perform a lunch time special drum demo at 2:00 pm! Everyone's welcome to pop in and check out as she showcases the V-Drums Kit and SPD-SX PRO.
The Details & How To Book
Our Roland Demo Day with Cat Myers and Mike Thomas will take place on Saturday the 3rd August in the Roland store at guitarguitar Glasgow during the shop’s opening hours (10:00 - 5:30).
To attend, all you need to do is phone our Glasgow store on 01415529896 and speak to our Roland specialist Michael who will book you in for a free 20 minute session.
Drummers (and drummers-to-be) of all levels are welcome. Come on down and kickstart your drumming creativity with the best in the business!
