Songwriting Masterclass with Ben Earle at guitarguitar Camden

Published on 01 July 2024

Have you ever wondered what it takes to write a hit song? Perhaps you tried your luck in writing original music and lyrics but you can’t quite nail it yet? Well, have we got something special for you! As part of our 20th anniversary, we’ve teamed up with Martin to deliver an exclusive songwriting masterclass with world-renowned songwriter, Ben Earle!

Who is Ben Earle?

As half of one of the UK's leading country acts, the Shires, Ben Earle is an exceptionally talented songwriter and performer. Along with being a top tier musician in his own right, he has written with writers such as Steve Mac and Jimmy Hogarth. Ben has had songs released by legendary artists like Boyzone, Westlife and even Celine Dion! Plus, as a DJ on the Absolute Country radio station, Ben Earle knows a thing or two about what makes a hit.

Earle is currently writing with and for artists in the UK and the US and he is also extensively touring with The Shires.

What is This Event All About?

In association with Martin, guitarguitar are giving Londoners a chance to attend an event with one of the fastest growing songwriters to come out of the UK. Ben Earle will host a special masterclass where he will talk to the audience about the songwriting aspect of being a musician, how to break into the songwriting industry, what does publishing involve and last - but not least - how to write a good song from start to finish. The audience will have a chance to take notes, ask questions and get inspired! Maybe the next great songwriter is.. YOU?
