The Jackson Soloist officially started production in 1984 and is still today, for many, the ideal "superstrat". Designed by now legendary luthier Grover Jackson the design has seen many changes and variations over the years but it's core has always remained the same. A neck-through S-Style electric guitar with high quality hardware designed for ultimate playability. The neck-through design not only added strength and stability, but it increased the sustain and resonance of the guitar while also allowing much smoother access to the higher frets, a very important feature in the 80's! Other features we can often find on the Soloist include Floyd Rose Tremolo's, high output humbuckers, 24 frets, and flatter radius fingerboards.
