About Jackson Kelly
Jackson Kelly Guitars have been a big part of the heavy metal scene since the model was introduced in the 1980s. It was made for Bradford Kelly who was the guitarist in Heaven, an 80s heavy metal band from Australia. It gained further popularity in the 1990s when players such as Marty Friedman famously used the Jackson Kelly. It has a distinctive and stylish shape and usually comes with a pair of humbuckers and a Floyd Rose tremolo. This makes it excellent for both rhythm and lead playing. Signature models include the Brandon Ellis Kelly and Jeff Loomis Kelly from the Pro Series. If you are after a guitar that can handle fast solos and huge riffs then the Jackson Kelly is well worth your consideration.
Why Should I Choose a Jackson Kelly Guitar?
- Distinctive shape ideal for metal
- Famously used by the likes of Marty Friedman, Jeff Loomis and Phil Collen
