Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy - Our Charity Partner
Whether you play guitar, drums, piano or anything else in between, there's something that we all have in common: a shared love and passion for music. With the power to uplift and inspire people, music is something that everybody can relate to. In fact, we'd even go as far as to say that challenging yourself to learn how to play an instrument is one of the most rewarding things you'll ever do. While often frustrating and at times, seemingly impossible, there's nothing quite like that breakthrough moment where you suddenly realise you've mastered something. We've all had those moments of elation where all your practice was worth it and there isn't much that compares to taking that voyage for yourself. Breaking through your own self-doubt and achieving something you've set your heart on is a seriously powerful thing!
However, for some people, it's not always as easy as just picking up an instrument and learning to play. That's why we're proud to be partnered up with music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins. Their team of highly skilled music therapists work with vulnerable and isolated people across the UK, using music to reach those who can’t reach out themselves, to help improve their health and wellbeing. With their mission to make music therapy available to all those who need it, the guys at Nordoff Robbins have been able to support a huge number of people living with wide-ranging conditions including autism, developmental delay, physical or cognitive disabilities, mental health issues, dementia, brain injury and short or long-term illnesses.
We've witnessed first-hand just how much of an impact Nordoff Robbins have made, and we've always been proud to support what we think is a truly incredible cause. The charity uses the beauty and potential of music in the most special way possible, relying on the generosity of its supporters all the way. We'd thoroughly recommend taking a look at the remarkable work they do.
