The Fender American Ultra Stratocaster is a versatile and contemporary take on Fender's most famous design. Replacing the American Elite Stratocaster, the new Ultra model boasts a host of fantastic new features. It is Fender's most advanced production guitar.

The Ultra Stratocaster differs from other models in several ways. Most significantly, it has a set of newly designed Ultra Noiseless pickups. It has the classic Stratocaster sound, but almost zero background noise or hum. The neck is redesigned with a comfortable 'Modern D' profile and a compound radius fingerboard which flattens out as it reaches the body. The body itself has a sculpted heel for greater upper fret access. The guitars are available in a range of new finishes, including new bursts and metallic colours.

An HSS model is available with a bridge position humbucker, for greater tonal versatility. Other upgrades include locking tuners, an S-1 switch, and a hardshell case.
