Where are Epiphone acoustic guitars made?

Most acoustic guitars by Epiphone are made at their factory in Qingdao. There are some Epiphone models made in Gibson’s factory in Montana but these are clearly marked Epiphone USA.

Epiphone started out in Turkey in 1873, making lutes and fiddles. During the 1930s and 40s they were Gibson's main competitor in the area of making archtop acoustics.
