Location: Newcastle

 

About the Role

We’re looking for a solutions focused individual to join our online team with experience of customer service via phone and email. Our Retention and Support team are responsible for guiding customers through various aftersales journeys from a 14 day return right through to our 3 year warranty.

Dispatch Assistant (Camden)

Dispatch Assistant

Location: Camden

 

We have an exciting opportunity to add a full time member of staff to our team in Camden.

 

Working 5 days from 7, as a member of our dispatch team, you will represent both guitarguitar, the UK’s biggest guitar retailer, and the legendary brands and manufacturers we partner with.

 

You will be working directly under the supervision of our Store Management Team.

 

A successful candidate will:

  • Have an excellent understanding of guitars, musical and recording equipment.
  • Have previous experience of the day to operations of a busy stockroom and warehouse
  • Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and meeting company standards and deadlines
  • Receiving stock in (POs and Transfers)
  • Assist in driving and maximising efficiency, enhancing our customers experience; both in store and online.
  • Maintain stock accuracy by completing stock checks for accurate stock levels. 
  • Complete store admin accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Preparing and merchandising stock for the shop floor
  • Picking and packing, ensuring goods are shipped safely
  • Performing basic guitar maintenance, such as restringing and cleaning

PPC Manager (Linwood)

Location: Greater Glasgow (Linwood)

About the Role

The PPC Manager will execute the paid search strategy in line with KPIs and budget. The role will be responsible for the day to day running of paid campaigns across various digital channels such as Google, Bing and Facebook. This role sits within the marketing department, reporting to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day management and optimisation of paid activity (Search, Shopping, Display and Video)
  • Analyse and report on performance
  • Identify new keyword, audience and targeting opportunities
  • Propose new initiatives and ideas
  • Keep abreast of paid search developments, competitor performance and wider retail industry trends
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure campaigns meet wider business objectives
  • Resolve Merchant Centre disapprovals and warnings
  • Feed insights to the purchasing team which could help inform purchasing decisions

Experience and Skills

  • At least 2 year experience working on paid media campaigns and delivering against KPIs
  • Understanding of paid media best practices
  • Familiarity with Google shopping, dynamic remarketing and product feeds
  • Highly analytical and data driven, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Experience using tools such as Google Merchant Centre, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager and Google Analytics
  • Budget management with a focus on maximising return
  • A proactive individual that takes ownership of tasks

Store Sales & Content (Epsom/Camden)

Location: Epsom/Camden

Job Description
We’re looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team in a split full-time role across our Southern stores. The role will be split, with half your time spent generating engaging content for all our social platforms, ensuring everything aligns with guitarguitar’s marketing strategy, and half on Store Duties, delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities

 

Content Creation & Social Media (50%, circa 17.5- 20 hrs a week)

  • Plan & create high-quality content (photos, videos, stories, posts) for all social media platforms and website, in line with the guitarguitar’s Marketing strategy
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency, suitable standards of content and campaign alignment


Store Duties & Sales
(50%, circa 17.5- 20 hrs a week)

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, offering expert advice and product recommendations
  • Drive sales and help customers find their perfect gear
  • Follow our sales methodology to grow margin, basket size and value
  • Support with merchandising, stock management, and maintaining store standards
  • Open and close the store as a key holder, ensuring security and operational procedures are followed


About You

  • Self-motivated, creative, and passionate about music and social media
  • Aware of current social media trends, styles and strategies
  • Confident with content creation (photo/video/editing) and familiar with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Retail or sales experience preferred
  • Trustworthy and reliable, with experience or readiness to take on key holder responsibilities
  • Willingness to work across Epsom, Birmingham and Camden locations as required


Reports to:

  • Store Manager 

This is a fully onsite role with flexible shifts—working 5 days out of 7, often outside normal shop hours to film content when the store is quiet. London salary applies.
