First released in 1969, the Deluxe saw the introduction of the mini humbucker to the Les Paul lineup. Mini humbuckers retain the hum-free performance of their full-sized cousins but with a somewhat clearer and brighter tonality.

At guitarguitar, we award our used gear a grade from 1-5 according to its overall condition, with 5 being the best.

Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.

Additional Information: This 1976 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe has come to us in fantastic condition, although it has had a number of mods and changes throughout its history.

This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.

This item has been modified as follows: Pickups have been routed to humbuckers and fitted with Monty's Bethnal Green (Peter Green style pickups). Headstock tuners have been rerouted for Grover Tulip machineheads, although the original Klusons are in the case. The bridge and tailpiece are not original and the neck has been re-fret with extra jumbo frets.

We take care to photograph any features, wear, tear, or modifications you might want to see before you make the decision to buy.
